Hi everyone,
I’ve been following Nelson Rodarte’s case and I feel compelled to bring up something that’s not often discussed in these situations – the impact of such a loss on a community as tight-knit as Penasco. Nelson wasn’t just another resident; he was a crucial part of the community fabric. As an electrician and owner of Mountain Man Electric, he interacted with so many locals through his work. It’s clear he left a lasting impression on those who knew him, described as loveable and always willing to lend a hand.
The ripple effect of his death is something we can’t overlook. When a community loses someone like Nelson, that impact is felt in so many ways beyond just the immediate family. It’s the neighbor who trusted him to fix a flickering light, the local businesses that depended on his expertise, and the friendly face that greeted people at the store or local events.
While we’re still in the dark about who could have been responsible or why this tragedy occurred, I hope that shedding light on Nelson’s contributions and the void left by his absence might help others come forward with any information. Would love to hear more thoughts on how communities can rally together in times like these.
Sending thoughts to his family and everyone in Penasco during this time. Let’s hope for answers soon.

Hey everyone,
I recently came across the case of Nelson Francisco "Horse" Rodarte Jr., and it's just been on my mind a lot. From what I've read, Nelson seemed like such a kind soul. It's awful to think his life was cut short by violence. He was really involved in the Penasco community and made a mark on so many people there.
Something that keeps bothering me is the lack of information about the investigation. It seems so quiet, almost like his case was swept under the rug. No suspects, no leads, no arrests... After nearly six years, shouldn't there be something? I wonder if there are any ongoing efforts, official or community-driven, to find justice for Nelson. It's so important that we keep his story alive and keep asking questions. Nelson and his family deserve that closure.
Does anyone else have thoughts on how cases like Nelson's can be kept in the public eye, especially when official updates seem scarce? My heart goes out to his family and friends who are still waiting for answers.
