Hey everyone, just diving into the Donna Kay Gibson case from '95—something's been nagging at me. I can't shake the feeling about those early morning hours when one of her kids saw her on the couch. It seems odd that nobody noticed anything off until hours later. I mean, someone should have heard or seen something if she left or was taken, right? Especially in a quiet place like Bumpass. Also, how did nobody hear her leaving or see anyone come in? I can't stop thinking if it's possible that maybe she knew whoever she left with, or could it be that the layout of the house made it easy for someone to sneak in unnoticed? Would love to hear any thoughts or insights.
It's been puzzling me how someone could just vanish like that. Leaving behind things like glasses and contact lenses is particularly odd. I mean, for anyone who wears them, those items are pretty much essential, especially for someone who likely had vision issues. And then there are her cigarettes... It's almost like she suddenly got up and thought she'd be right back. But where would you go without any of your personal necessities? Seems so out of character for a mother of four, especially when she was unwell. There's something not adding up here. What do you all think -- could there be a clue we're missing in these personal items left behind?
I've been following Donna Kay Gibson's case for a while now, and something that keeps puzzling me is how she managed to disappear without taking her glasses or contact lenses. Anyone else find that particularly strange? I mean, as someone who needs corrective lenses myself, I can't even imagine leaving the house without them, especially at night. It makes me wonder if she even had the chance to plan leaving voluntarily. Maybe it's just me, but this detail seems crucial. Could it point more towards the idea that she didn't leave on her own terms? I’d love to hear what you guys think about this angle.
