I still can't wrap my head around the fact that it took over three years for the primary suspect in Derrick Casey's murder to be arrested. It makes me wonder just how many hurdles the detectives had to jump over to piece this all together. It must have been incredibly tough for Derrick’s family and friends, waiting so long without seeing any real action or resolution. The APD must have played their cards very carefully, especially since witness testimonies can become fuzzy with time. It's eerily impressive that they managed to gather enough evidence to make these arrests, considering the time that had passed. My thoughts are with Derrick's loved ones; no one should have to wait so long for answers. May justice find its place.
