Just wanted to drop in and share something that’s been on my mind about Sean Markey Jr.'s case. I recently stumbled across an article that mentioned a candlelight vigil held for him every year since his tragic passing. It struck me how strong his family and friends have been throughout all of this. The article showed images of Sean's classmates and teachers gathering to honor his memory, which was incredibly moving. You can really see the impact he had on those around him during his short life.
Sometimes it's easy to focus only on the investigation (or lack thereof in this case), but I think it's just as important to acknowledge the way a community can come together in the wake of such senseless violence. If anyone here attended one of these vigils or knows more about them, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Maybe these events not only keep Sean's memory alive but also serve as a reminder for us to continue seeking justice for him.
I've been following the case of Sean Dylan Markey Jr., and something that's really bothering me is the lack of information about potential witnesses. Considering the incident took place in a relatively busy area of Albuquerque, it's hard to believe there were no people around who might have seen or heard something. I've read through every article I could find, and none mention any eyewitness accounts or even possible surveillance footage that could have picked up anything.
My heart goes out to Sean's family and friends, who must be feeling so frustrated with the lack of progress in the investigation. I can't imagine the pain they're going through, not having any answers all these years. It's sad to think that someone so young, with such a bright future ahead, had his life cut short, and yet we seem to be no closer to justice. I'm hoping that new information comes to light soon, and that anyone who might know something will come forward. Sean and his loved ones deserve closure, and it's crucial for the community to keep pushing for justice in his name.
Hey everyone,
I was reading about Sean Dylan Markey Jr.'s case and came across a post mentioning that his classmates at Sandia High School held a vigil shortly after his passing. It’s so touching to see his peers come together like that to honor him. I can't imagine what it must have been like for them returning to school with such an emptiness where Sean used to be.
I wonder if the police ever interviewed any of the students who were close to him. Teenagers often have their own networks and might know details that adults overlook. Has anyone heard if his classmates were able to provide any insights or if there has been any outreach by the investigators to the school community?
Keeping his family and friends in my thoughts. Justice for Sean. ?️
