I've been digging into the Ryan Nelson case and can't help but think about the ripple effects of his passing on the community and his family. While there's so much we don't know about what happened to him, we do know he was a father to young Isabella. It's so important to think about the impact on his daughter growing up without her dad. Ryan seemed like he had strong cultural roots, being part of the Tábaahá and Tsénjíkiní clans, which would have been a huge part of his and his family's identity. It's devastating to think about her missing out on learning more about his heritage and traditions from him directly. If anyone has insights on how his family is doing and how we as a community can support them, especially Isabella, please share. It's crucial we stand together in times like these and do what we can, even from afar.
