Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Gage Lorentz’s case closely, and something keeps nagging at me—the abrupt cut in the body camera footage. As someone who deeply cares about justice and transparency, I've seen many cases where crucial moments are lost due to equipment failure. It feels like we're missing such a key part of the interaction before the shots were fired.
I can't begin to imagine how incredibly frustrating and painful this is for Gage’s family, especially when there are lingering questions about what truly happened in those 26 seconds of missing footage. I think it's entirely fair for them to demand more answers, all things considered. Has anyone here dealt with or seen similar gaps in evidence? How often do these supposedly random malfunctions happen, and is there usually a way to retrieve or confirm what was lost?
Also, if you’ve had any positive experiences with getting such footage restored or explained, any advice or insights would be invaluable for the family and those of us trying to understand the full story.
Thinking of Gage’s loved ones and hoping they find some peace and resolution soon.
