Does anyone else here think it's unfathomable how a moment of irresponsibility led to such a tragedy in Alexandria Chavez's case? I was reading about how Junior Calix, who she considered family, accidentally shot her during what seemed like just a regular evening together. It’s hard to comprehend how something so tragic can stem from a supposedly innocent routine. I can't imagine the weight of guilt Calix must carry, or the pain her family is going through.
What's incredible to me is how close they were, and yet a single lapse in judgment changed everything permanently. I get that Calix has been trying to turn his life around since the incident, but I’m not sure how comforting that is for those who lost Alexandria. How does one balance forgiveness with the need for justice in a situation like this? It's just all so devastating for everyone involved.
