Has anyone looked into the truck stops or rest areas along I-40 near where Jerry Wayne Moore disappeared? It's been bugging me because those places can be sketchy, especially back in the '90s. They often have transient traffic and sometimes less-than-reputable activities. Could someone have given him a ride, willingly or not? It just seems odd that he vanished without a trace given his health condition. Maybe he wandered into one of those areas looking for help after getting disoriented. Has anyone else considered this angle or come across any reports from truckers or witnesses who might've seen something unusual around that time?

Does anyone else find it strange that Jerry’s wife decided to drive ahead before returning to pick him up? I understand they might have had a system that worked for them, but given Jerry's health conditions, it just strikes me as odd. He needed close monitoring due to his seizures and recent health issues, so why would she leave him alone on the side of a busy interstate? I’m not trying to imply anything, but it just seems like a risky decision, especially at night (I assume it might have been dark). Maybe there’s something we’re missing in this angle. Thoughts?
