I’ve been thinking a lot about Ronnie Tomás Benavidez and how little information we have about what happened. One aspect that’s really puzzling is the total silence around any investigation. I know investigations can sometimes be kept hush-hush for various reasons, but it's hard not to feel frustrated for Ronnie's family and friends. They deserve answers and closure.
Does anyone have any insight into why some cases just seem to vanish like this? Are there any other cases in the Las Cruces area where the lack of information was particularly striking? It just seems like there should be something more concrete by now, even if it’s just a public statement from law enforcement to address community concerns.
My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Ronnie. It's a terrible thing to be left in the dark when you're already dealing with such a loss.
Has anyone else noticed the eerie silence surrounding Ronnie Tomás Benavidez's case? It's been nearly three years, and there's still hardly any news or official updates. For me, it’s the absence of information that’s most unsettling—it's like his death has disappeared into the void.
I can't imagine the anguish his family must be feeling, not having any closure about what happened. If any local Las Cruces residents are reading this, do you remember hearing anything back in December 2020? Were there any rumors or local buzz that might've flown under the radar?
It's really important to keep talking about cases like Ronnie's, even when the details are scarce. You never know when a small piece of information could lead to some answers. My heart goes out to those who knew and loved him. They deserve to know the truth, whatever that may be.
