I came across the case of Julian Mayes while reading about unsolved crimes in Albuquerque, and it really made me reflect on the pain his family must be feeling, not knowing who is responsible for his death. It's so unsettling that there's no mention of any leads or arrests in his case. Julian was just 31, a period in life when many of us are still figuring things out and building dreams. It's so unfair that his life was cut short this way. The broader issue of gun violence in Albuquerque is truly alarming, and the fact that Julian's case is still open makes me wonder if there are systemic issues that need addressing. Are there others in the community who might know something more that could help bring closure and justice? Keeping all those who knew and loved Julian in my thoughts.
