Hey everyone,

I've been following the case of Anastacio Amador and, like many of you, I'm trying to piece together what happened that tragic night. One thing that struck me was how close-knit the Barelas community seems to be, and yet no solid leads have emerged. It's incredibly frustrating to think that someone out there knows something but hasn't come forward.

I was wondering if anyone here has heard more about community responses or vigils that might have taken place in Anastacio's memory. Sometimes these gatherings can provide crucial support for grieving families and even inspire reluctant witnesses to share what they've seen or heard.

It breaks my heart thinking about the impact this has had on his family and how the sense of safety in Barelas has been shattered. If anyone has attended such events or heard more from local sources, please share. We need to keep the memory of Anastacio alive in the hopes of finding justice for him and bringing some peace to those who loved him.

Take care, everyone.
I've been following the Anastacio Amador case and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. What happened to him is tragic, and it's unsettling how there haven't been any substantial leads or arrests made yet. The lack of information on potential suspects is frustrating and must be incredibly difficult for those who knew and loved him.
I was wondering if anyone here has thoughts on whether the increase in violence in Albuquerque around that time could have been a factor in the delayed results from the investigation? With 102 homicides by early November 2021, it seems like the police might have been stretched really thin. It’s unfortunate that this might affect justice being served for Anastacio and his loved ones. I hope someone comes forward soon with the information that can bring some closure to this case.

It's just so unsettling to think how swiftly someone’s life can be taken and how the pain ripples through entire communities. I've been reading up on the area, and it seems like the Barelas neighborhood has been facing an uptick in violence. It's deeply concerning how these neighborhoods, where families are just trying to live their lives, have to deal with such a scary environment.
Does anyone know if community groups in Albuquerque are stepping up in response to the increase in homicides? Sometimes these grassroots efforts can be really impactful in both supporting affected families and pushing for change.
