I've been following the threads on Sihui Fang's case, and I've been thinking a lot about the role the media plays in shaping public perception. It's truly concerning how these incidents can be reported in ways that either bring attention to systemic issues or completely overlook them. I've seen some discussions about the documentary "I Hate Asians," and it's saddening that it takes such tragedies for these stories to get the attention they deserve. Has anyone watched it yet? I'm curious to know how they portrayed the events and if it adequately represents the struggles of the Asian community, especially in Albuquerque. Also, learning about Rod Honstein's involvement and his relentless pursuit for justice really touched me. It must be incredibly difficult to lose someone so dear and then have to fight so hard to have it recognized as more than just a random act of violence. I hope that as a community, we can support individuals like him and the message they're trying to amplify. Would love to hear thoughts from others who've followed similar cases or seen the documentary. How do you think we can push for more comprehensive reporting on these issues?
