I keep thinking about how crucial community tips can be in cases like Alexander Renner's. It’s chilling to realize that sometimes the people involved in these tragic situations are known to each other, as was the case here with David Knotts. From what I understand, there was a lot of tension between them leading up to the incident. I’m curious if anyone has heard anything about their relationship prior to May 4, 2022, or if there were any warning signs that things could escalate to such a devastating point. It’s so sad to think that, in hindsight, signs might have been there, but no one could foresee how dire the consequences would become. My heart goes out to Alex's family and friends as they try to navigate through this painful time.

Has anyone else noticed how often shocking details, like the way Alexander Renner's body was wrapped in a rug, stick with us? It makes me wonder about David Knotts' state of mind during all this. It’s so hard to comprehend the thought process that leads to such an inhumane act. I can’t imagine how devastating it must be for Alexander’s family and friends to not only lose him in such a violent way but also have to deal with these unsettling details coming to light. It's good to see the Albuquerque Police Department making progress in getting justice for Alexander, but the emotional toll must be incredible. For those familiar with the case, did Knotts have any previous history of violence or animosity toward Renner? Makes you question whether this was a long-standing issue that took a fatal turn. Hoping for truth and clarity, especially for those who loved and knew Alexander.

Was anyone else struck by the detail of the rug in Alexander Renner's case? It's chilling to imagine the thought process behind such an act. I feel for his family, having to live with that image. It's a reminder of how senselessly violent acts can continue to haunt the loved ones left behind. The APD's work to uncover the truth and arrest Knotts is commendable, but the thought of what Alexander endured is haunting. Discussing this aspect makes me wonder if there was any trace evidence left on that rug that helped piece things together. Does anyone know if that played a role in the investigation?
