I was reading about the tragic loss of Isaac Gomez-Lopez, and my heart goes out to his family and friends during this painful time. What a terrifying ordeal for such a young soul. It’s devastating that Isaac was just trying to visit his girlfriend when his life was cut short. I've been thinking about how the area around North 35th Avenue and Roosevelt might have been that night. Was it well-lit? Were there people around who might have seen these two males? It’s baffling how someone could just chase and shoot a kid, and then disappear into the night without a trace. I can’t help but wonder if there were any surveillance cameras nearby that weren’t checked at the time. Or maybe there were residents or businesses in the vicinity that might not have been thoroughly questioned. They only need one tip to crack this case open, and it’s frustrating to see it remain unsolved. If anyone has info or even a hunch after all these years, I hope they step forward. Isaac and his loved ones deserve justice.
