Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Andres Griego-Alvarado's murder? I'm trying to wrap my head around how challenging this must be for his family and friends. Andres was so young and full of promise, just having graduated and set to attend college. It's hard to understand why such violence happens, especially to someone who seemed to have such a bright future ahead. I read about the quick arrest of Efren Sifuentes-Gallegos and, while it's a relief that the police acted fast, it doesn't erase the loss felt by Andres' loved ones. Does anyone know if the community is doing anything to support Andres' family, like a vigil or community gathering? It's times like these when people coming together can make a difference for those suffering such a profound loss.
