I haven't commented much on this particular detail of the tragedy, but I keep thinking about the terrifying situation those two young children had to endure. I cannot imagine the trauma they are experiencing and the fear they must have felt as shots were fired at the vehicle they were in. It's devastating to think about how this incident could shape their young lives and the support they'll need moving forward. I'm also curious if anyone knows more about how child services are involved or if there are any efforts to provide counseling for the kids. It's so critical for them to have the resources they need to heal emotionally after witnessing such violence firsthand. My heart truly goes out to them and to Emili, who must also be dealing with immense pain while trying to stay strong for her boys.
