I’ve been following Pearlie Mae Eackles-Wade’s case for a while, and something that's been nagging me is the lack of public info about her ex-boyfriend she went to see on her last day. There’s almost no mention of any follow-up with him—was he even questioned, or did he have an alibi? It’s frustrating how cases like these just seem to hit a dead end, especially since she was supposedly meeting him on the day she disappeared. You’d think someone would remember something or that there’d be some surveillance footage from around 51st and Ashland. Anyone here have any insights on how law enforcement might handle such situations, or tips on digging into gaps like this in cold cases?
