Has anyone else thought about the trauma the survivor must still be dealing with from the Chinatown Massacre? I can't even imagine what it must be like to live through something so horrific and then carry that memory for the rest of your life. This person not only lost friends but also had to face their assailants in court. That takes so much courage and strength. I hope they've been able to find some semblance of peace and support through these years. It's unfair how one night of violence can cast such a long shadow, not just over the victim's family and friends, but over the entire community. I often think about the resilience it takes for those affected to keep going while also waiting for justice to fully unfold. Thoughts with everyone who was touched by this tragedy.
