Hey everyone, I've been looking into the case of Jose Hornado, and I can't help but think about how little attention this tragedy received back in 1996. It's so tragic that Jose, a young teen with his whole life ahead of him, had his future stolen away. Gun violence is an ongoing crisis and the lack of leads or suspects in Jose's case is deeply unsettling. I read somewhere that Brockton was going through a tough period during the mid-'90s, and it's heartbreaking to think that this was just another statistic at the time. Has anyone here from Brockton, especially from back then, heard anything more about what the neighborhood was going through? I wish there was a way to dig deeper into local archives or even contact journalists who were active in that period to see if there's more to uncover. It feels like we owe it to Jose and his family to keep searching for answers.
