It's really sad to think about how Derek Williams’ case has remained unresolved for so long. I was reading through some of the old news articles and discussions, and it struck me how little has changed since 2006. Can you imagine the pain his family must feel, not only losing him in such a tragic way but also having no answers or justice even now? It seems like there might have been potential witnesses back then, given it happened in a busy area. I really hope that someone who knows something will step forward. His family deserves closure and peace knowing that the person responsible is held accountable. It's times like these I wish we could do more than just wait and hope that the case will catch a break.
