Has anyone else been following the mystery around Dorothy Philbrook's old savings bonds? I've read a few things suggesting that during the investigation, there was some interest in her financial documents, particularly these bonds that she had from way back. I can't shake the feeling that there might be some underlying financial motive here, maybe not directly related to the murder, but something that adds layers to the story. I can't begin to imagine the pain her family must be going through and to have details of her life, like her finances, become part of the public spectacle. It's just so sad all around. Does anyone know if this was explored more in the trial? Would love to hear thoughts.
