I've been following the Odin Lloyd case closely, and one thing that really stands out to me is the role of technology and surveillance in piecing the events together. It's chilling to think that without the surveillance footage and digital trail, it might have been a lot harder to pinpoint what happened that night. Lloyd's last text to his sister, which mentioned being with an NFL player, and the footage of the car at the industrial park, played such a crucial role in constructing the timeline. It’s deeply unsettling to think about how unsuspecting Lloyd was, just going along with people he considered acquaintances. My heart goes out to his family and friends for having to endure this long process of justice and loss. To think that someone’s last moments can now be retraced through technology offers a mix of relief and sorrow—it helps with the truth, but it won't bring back a life.
