Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the disappearance of Joseph Clarence Wilma Jr. and Michael Desmet. It's so puzzling to me how they could vanish like that in 2005, and then years later, only Joseph's remains are found. With the large marijuana operation on Wilma's property, it leads me to wonder just how deep that situation ran. Was it a case of wrong place, wrong time, or was there something bigger at play? Especially with Michael still missing, it seems like there might be more layers to this story that haven't come to light yet. I hope the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office can uncover more clues. Any thoughts on how these illicit operations play into cases like this?

Does anyone else find it peculiar how the timing of Joseph Wilma and Michael Desmet's disappearance coincided so closely with the shutdown of that marijuana garden on Wilma's property? I've been following this case, and the link between their disappearance and the illicit activities is too close to ignore. It's almost as if someone wanted them gone before they could potentially blow the whistle or maybe they were caught up in something bigger. It's tragic we have part of the story with Joseph's remains found, yet Michael's fate is still a question mark. What are the chances someone in that marijuana operation knows more about what happened to both men? Does the timing raise any red flags for anyone else?

I’ve been closely following the case of Joseph Clarence Wilma Jr. and Michael Desmet, and I can’t stop thinking about that jawbone and femur that were found back in 2007. It’s baffling how things went so wrong between August 26, 2005, when they were last seen, and the discovery of those remains. Does anyone else think there might be a connection between the timing of the marijuana garden being eradicated and their subsequent disappearance and murder? It seems so coincidental. What's also strange is the complete disappearance of Desmet. It’s like he vanished into thin air, while Wilma’s case took such a dark turn. Since they were last seen headed towards China Creek in Wilma’s pickup, I’ve always wondered if they might have stumbled upon something, or someone, they weren’t supposed to. It just all feels like a tangled web with too many loose ends and not enough answers. What do you all think? Any theories about why Desmet is still missing, or thoughts on how the marijuana plantation might fit into everything?
