Did anyone else watch the interview with Pablo's best friend on the local news last night? It was so tough to watch. You could really see the pain and disbelief in his eyes as he talked about losing his friend in such a senseless act of violence. What struck me most was when he mentioned how Pablo had been looking forward to starting college later that year. It's so unfair that his life was cut short before he got that chance. My heart goes out to all of Pablo’s friends and family as they continue to grapple with this unimaginable loss. It seems like moments like these remind us of the human side of what's often reduced to headlines. It's important to remember the person behind this tragic story was loved and had big dreams for the future.
