Does anyone else find it strange that there’s almost no media coverage on Martha Avila’s disappearance? It’s been so many years, yet you can barely find anything in the news archives or online. I’ve been following this case closely, and it seems like even from the beginning, the details have been sparse. Can anyone from the Houston area weigh in on whether there was any local media push back in 2008? It's just puzzling how some missing persons cases get tons of attention while others, like Martha's, seem to fall through the cracks. It’s frustrating because media coverage can be crucial in encouraging witnesses to come forward. Wondering if anyone has any theories on why the coverage was, and still is, so limited.
