Was anyone else struck by how terrifying it must have been for the neighbors in Peabody at the time of the murders of Mark Greenlaw and Jennifer O'Connor? Living so close to such a tragic event must have been incredibly frightening, especially during those initial days before Wes Doughty was apprehended. I can't imagine the sense of unease in the community, not knowing if the suspect was still nearby. It really makes me feel for the residents, as well as the victims and their families. Knowing that someone could commit such an act in such a close-knit area is profoundly unsettling. I hope that the community has found some peace since then, and that there’s been support for those affected by these tragic events.
