Hey everyone, I was just revisiting the Houston case, and I can't stop thinking about their poor dog. It's so unsettling to consider that in the midst of whatever was happening in that household, they lost a life too. Pets are often such innocent victims in these tragic events, and it breaks my heart to think about the fear and confusion the dog must have felt. I know this doesn't add much to solving anything, but sometimes it's the small details that stick with you, you know? For Janice's friends and family, days like these must be unbearably hard, and my thoughts are truly with them. Would love to hear others' perspectives on this aspect or if there are other cases where pets were involved that you might want to discuss.

Has anyone else thought about the community response to the Houston tragedy in Montgomery? It must be such a difficult time for the local residents, given how small and close-knit the town is. With a population under 1,000, everyone probably knew Janice and Jeffrey personally, or at least by sight. Events like this can truly ripple through a community, leaving so many people grappling for answers and questioning how something like this could happen in their seemingly peaceful town. It’s so important for the community to come together now, supporting each other and remembering the good times they shared with the couple. I'm curious if there have been any community gatherings or vigils to honor their memories and help with the healing process. Does anyone from the area have more insight or anything they'd like to share about how the town is coping?
