Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Jose Luis Phinn Williams, the elderly gas station attendant who was sadly killed during a robbery attempt in Dorchester back in 2018. I can’t stop thinking about the impact his death must have had on his two sons. Losing a parent in such a senseless act of violence is unimaginable, especially when it happens just days before a birthday.
What really gets me is how Phinn Williams was so lovingly described by those who knew him—a devoted father constantly doting on his kids. I read that his sons were 27 and 18 at the time. Has anyone else been keeping up with how they're doing now, or if the community has plans for additional vigils or memorials to keep his memory alive?
I genuinely hope justice is served soon, not just for the sake of closure but so his family and friends can find some peace knowing that the person responsible is held accountable. It's crucial for the community to stay involved and share any information they might have so this doesn't remain a cold case forever.
Sending all my thoughts to the Williams family and hoping for some breakthrough in the investigation.
Take care, everyone.
I've been following the Phinn Williams case from the start, and something that's bothering me is the lack of leads since the initial suspect was released. It's baffling how after the charges were dropped, there appears to be so little progress in finding the real perpetrator. I can only imagine the frustration his family must be feeling, especially his sons. It's shocking that such a well-loved community figure could be killed, and almost five years later, there's still no justice. The Fabian Gas Station isn't exactly remote—someone must have seen or heard something. I really hope the community continues to cooperate and provide any little detail they might remember. Even the smallest piece of information could be what cracks this case open. My heart goes out to his family and all who held Phinn in such high regard. They deserve answers and I hope they come soon.
