Hey everyone,
I just wanted to talk a bit about the community reaction to the Zaccardi family tragedy. It’s been on my mind a lot lately, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who can't stop thinking about it. The way everyone came together to support each other was really moving. I heard about how the local schools brought in counselors for the kids who knew Kathryn, Alexis, and Nathaniel. It must have been so hard for young kids to process losing their friends like that.
Also, it’s been touching to see how people are remembering Deirdre from her time working at that Boston agency. The memories shared by her coworkers were really heartfelt. It's pleasant to see they took the time to honor her impact not just as a professional but as a friend. No doubt, the ripple effects of this loss will be felt for a long time in the community and beyond.
If anyone has more insights on how the schools or local groups are handling grief support, I’d love to hear about it. It's important to support each other in times like these. ?
Thanks for creating a safe space to discuss, everyone.
