I’ve been following the Pasqual Casiano case, and I can’t stop thinking about the role that Lugo's flight played in the outcome. It’s tragic to think about the fear and desperation that this must have brought to Pasqual’s family, especially since Lugo’s actions seem to suggest consciousness of guilt. Abandoning personal belongings, altering his appearance, and even the use of his son’s phone show a calculated effort to escape responsibility. It makes me wonder how Pasqual's family felt during this time, knowing the person responsible for their loved one's death was out there trying to start a new life. Justice doesn’t bring Pasqual back, but I'm glad there was some accountability, even if not the initial charge of murder. Has anyone else thought about how Lugo's actions after the incident might have influenced the jury's perception during the trial?

I've been thinking a lot about Javier Fonseca and the impact this must have had on him. Losing someone so close in such a traumatic way is unimaginable. He not only endured the horror of witnessing his uncle’s murder but was also injured himself. Navigating the aftermath and the legal proceedings that followed must have been incredibly challenging. I'm curious if anyone knows how Javier is doing these days. Is he finding some sense of peace or justice? This case is a tragic reminder of how quickly life can change, and I hope Javier has a strong support system around him. My heart goes out to him and everyone else who loved Pasqual Casiano. It’s important to remember the real lives affected behind the headlines.
