I keep thinking about the chilling audio recording played during Derell Guy's trial, where Bryan Omar Mendez-Hernandez is heard desperately pleading for help after being shot. It's haunting to know that in his last moments, Bryan was calling out for assistance, hoping for someone to save him. It's a raw reminder of the fear and pain he must have experienced in those final moments. My heart goes out to his friends and family who had to endure hearing that recording, and to all who loved him. It must have taken incredible strength to sit through the trial and hear such evidence presented, and I hope they’ve found some justice and peace now that the verdict is in. Listening to that undoubtedly brought a personal and profound understanding of Bryan's suffering and the true impact of this tragic crime.

Does anyone else feel for the family of Bryan Mendez-Hernandez? The audio played during the trial where he pleaded for help was truly haunting. It's horrifying to imagine that moment and the fear he must have felt. It's hard to wrap my head around how someone could be so cruel, and it’s equally tough to fathom the impact on those who loved him. The strength of his family through this ordeal is commendable.
