It's so disheartening to read about the case of sweet Tasji Dance and the way gun violence tore her from her loved ones. It's been on my mind how this all happened right in the heart of the afternoon at a busy Dorchester intersection. Can anyone from the area share if there have been any community initiatives or changes to improve safety since that day? I can't imagine how hard it must be for her family and friends to walk by that spot knowing what happened there. And about the young suspect, it's a tough situation all around. Only 17 and facing such serious charges... It's a reminder of how many lives are impacted by these senseless acts. My thoughts are with Tasji’s family in these trying times. Also, if anyone has attended any of the court proceedings or heard updates, it'd be good to hear how the process is moving along. Let's hope for justice and also reflect on how we can prevent more tragedies like this in our communities.
