Has anyone else found it chilling how Diane Downs tried to manipulate the situation even during her trial? I recently read about how she was pregnant again while facing charges for those terrible crimes against her children. It's hard not to feel for Christie and Danny, knowing they had to endure so much and then see their mom trying to play to the jury's sympathies. It just highlights her disturbing nature. I can't imagine the additional emotional turmoil this must have caused for them. It's one thing to face unimaginable loss but another to see the person responsible try to spin the narrative in such a selfish way. Sending a lot of love and strength to Christie and Danny, and hoping they've found peace and healing over the years. ?️
