I recently read through the details of Tien Hoang Truong's case, and something stood out to me regarding the description of the vehicle involved. The red 1979 Chevrolet van with a yellow stripe sounds pretty distinctive, especially for the early '90s. I wonder if there are any old photos or video footage from that night that might show the van either arriving or leaving the scene. Given how unique the vehicle is, I would think there might be more leads to follow up on.
It's baffling to me that no arrests have been made after all these years, especially with the description of the shooter being so detailed. My heart goes out to Tien's family, who have been left without answers for so long. Maybe someone from the neighborhood back then remembers something about that van or its owners. If anyone has any old records or even memories from local garages or auto shops that dealt with customized vans, it might be worth sharing. Let's not give up hope that justice can still be served.
