Hey everyone, I've been digging into the details surrounding Linda Henry Black's death, and something that's been on my mind is the community reaction back in Umpqua, OR. Given that this isn't a huge place, I'd imagine this tragically impacted the folks who knew her as a neighbor or a friend. I haven't been able to find much about any community events or vigils that might have taken place after her passing, but knowing how small towns usually rally around in times of need, I wonder if there were gatherings to honor her life or even safety meetings to discuss concerns for the future. Does anyone from the Umpqua area remember how the community came together after her death? Were there any efforts to support her family or raise awareness about the circumstances surrounding her loss? With such limited info available, it would be really insightful to understand the local perspective during that time. Thanks, and sending thoughts to all who were close to Linda.
