I've been following the discussions around the case of State v. Lowery, and there's something that's been perplexing me about the ballistic evidence. The trajectory analysis suggested a 40-45 degree angle from Lowery's window, which makes it seem very deliberate rather than an act of self-defense or unintentional fire. How common is it to determine intent based solely on the angle of a shot? And what's more, why would Lowery claim the shooting occurred in the hallway or street if the evidence clearly points to his apartment? My heart goes out to Bennett's family; having to process such details must be incredibly painful. It's so important that they get clear answers. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts or insights!

I was just reading about the tragic shooting that ended Bennett's life, and something definitely stood out to me. Why on earth would Lowery go to the door with a loaded shotgun if he only intended to scare those guys away? Seems pretty extreme just to frighten off troublemakers. It makes me think there might be more to this story that we aren't seeing on the surface. I can’t imagine how Bennett’s family and friends must be feeling right now. This kind of loss is unimaginable. For their sake, I really hope the investigation covers every potential angle so they can find some semblance of peace or justice. It also makes me wonder if anyone in Lowery's building noticed anything unusual that night. You have to think that someone in a busy apartment complex must have seen or heard something leading up to or after the incident. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this.

Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the State v. Lowery case, specifically regarding the ballistics report. I find it quite puzzling that the shot was fired at such a steep angle from his third-floor apartment. It really makes you wonder about Lowery's claim of the accidental discharge. If he was truly trying to scare away those guys, why fire while positioned in such a way that a 40-45 degree angle was involved? My heart goes out to Bennett and his family. No one deserves to lose a loved one in such confusing and violent circumstances. I really hope the investigation can bring some clarity to the whole incident. Eager to hear your thoughts or any additional insights!
