I’ve been thinking a lot about Chester "Chaz" Eugene Newborn's case lately. It’s so tragic that his life was cut short by gun violence back in June 2016, and yet there's so little information available. One thing that really hits me is the lack of media coverage or public updates about any investigation. It makes me wonder if this case has become just another cold file sitting in some forgotten drawer.
It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for Chaz’s family and friends, not having any answers or sense of justice. Every victim deserves their story to be told and their case pursued.
