I can't stop thinking about the brave neighbors who tried to help Liezl Enfield in those terrifying moments. It must have been such a traumatic experience for them to witness such a tragic event unfold right next door. The whole community must be feeling a heavy weight, trying to grapple with what happened and wondering if there could have been any signs or ways to prevent this tragedy. I just hope those affected can find some comfort in each other and that we can all learn more about spotting the warning signs of domestic violence, even when it's not physically visible. My heart goes out to Liezl and everyone mourning the loss of two innocent children. It’s a reminder of how crucial support networks are for families in distress.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of neighbors in these tragic situations. It’s so chilling to imagine being nearby when something so terrible is happening just a few doors down. I read that Sabrina Hayes tried to help Liezl after she fled the apartment. Can you imagine the terror and urgency she must have felt? It's a reminder of how important it is to be aware of those around us and look out for one another. This incident has really highlighted the need for neighborhood support and vigilance. I hope we can all find ways to come together and support families who find themselves in distress before it escalates into something unthinkable. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Liezl and everyone who loved those innocent children.
