Has anyone else been struck by the timing of Jay Flekier's disappearance? It's so strange that he vanished just two days after his mother's passing and didn't attend her funeral. I wonder if there's more to this — like maybe he was overwhelmed with grief? But even if he needed to get away, leaving behind his necessary medications seems concerning. Plus, he wasn't the type to go far from home. Was he trying to avoid something or somebody? Either way, I think the fact that both Jay and his car are still missing is troubling. It makes me think that authorities should consider re-expanding the search area, just to rule out any possibilities outside of Kansas. What do you all think about the car never turning up? Seems like someone would have spotted it by now, right?
Has anyone else looked into the significance of Jay Flekier's choice of clothing the morning he disappeared? A neon green jacket and white headband seem rather distinctive, especially since he wasn't known to be fond of bright colors. I keep wondering if this outfit could somehow be a clue. Maybe he planned on doing something specific that day? It's just puzzling given that he preferred not to stray far from home. Also, the fact that he left behind vital medications makes this even more worrying. There’s still the mystery of his missing car too – a black Cadillac CTS isn't exactly inconspicuous. If anyone has theories or observations about this, especially locals familiar with the area or similar cases, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Maybe together, we can find something that leads to answers.
Has anyone considered the timing with Jay's disappearance and his mom's passing? It feels really strange to me that he wouldn't attend the funeral, and then suddenly he's nowhere to be found. Was there any mention of him having a difficult relationship with his family, or maybe some signs of distress during that period? I know losing a parent can be extremely tough, but to just vanish completely? It doesn't sit right with me. Also, it’s odd that his car disappeared without a single trace. With technology today, you'd think there'd be some tracking or sightings. Thoughts on why there’s been so little info in Jay’s case? Surely someone saw something on such a busy day!
