I've been following Jon Paul Steuer's case closely and recently read about the significant impact he had during his time with the band P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S. It's truly a testament to his talent and passion that he made such a mark in just over a year. I can't imagine the pain his bandmates must be feeling, having lost not just a talented musician, but a friend and collaborator who helped bring their music to new heights. The fact that they expressed such heartfelt sorrow in their announcement really speaks to the strong bond they shared. It’s always baffling how someone who seemed to have so much going on creatively and professionally still faced such struggles. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved him.

I've been thinking a lot about Jon Paul Steuer and how his restaurant, Harvest at the Bindery, had to close after his passing. I never visited, but I had friends who couldn't stop raving about the place—not just about the food, which was apparently incredible, but about the positive vibe and warmth they felt there. It seemed like Jon poured so much of himself into it, creating not just a business but a gathering space for people to connect and enjoy something he was so passionate about. It's just so sad to see something he worked so hard on have to end, especially when community spaces like that are truly special. My heart goes out to everyone who found a sense of home at Harvest and to his friends and family who are missing him. I hope his vision and spirit are remembered through the impact he had on those who knew him and loved his work.
