Has anyone else been following the details around Davonte D. Kerney's case from 2018? I recently read a discussion about the impact of unsolved cases, and it's just deeply unsettling how his family still hasn’t seen justice after all these years. I mean, we're in 2025 now, and with it being such a public shooting near the North Park Blocks, I would've thought someone would have seen something. It's baffling how these cases can go without any arrests for so long. I keep thinking about how these types of open cases weigh on families and friends. It must be incredibly tough for them. The police have surely faced some significant hurdles, but it makes me wonder about what more can be done to prevent this kind of violence and whether there's some aspect of the investigation that could be revitalized with fresh eyes or technology advancements.
