It's so sad to hear about Frankie Gutierrez and the senseless violence in Humboldt Park. The neighborhood has seen its fair share of tragedies, and unfortunately, Frankie’s loss is a painful reminder of the bigger issue at hand. I can't imagine what his family is going through. This violence often feels disconnected from personal stories, but Frankie was someone’s friend, someone’s sibling, and now there’s a huge void in their lives. From what I’ve read, there have been efforts to involve community leaders and create more support networks, but it seems like these initiatives haven’t reached their full potential yet. My condolences go out to his loved ones, and I truly hope that Chicago finds a way to address these underlying issues before more lives are lost.
