I’ve been following the Salem shooting case and can’t stop thinking about the ripple effect it must have had on the community. With both Bradley Kelley and Michael Buntjer gone, I'm sure it left a massive void, especially for Buntjer's close-knit circle. The way his former father-in-law, Ron Taylor, talked about him really struck me. It’s clear that Michael meant a lot to him and his family, even years after the divorce. It makes me wonder about Coral Olfert, the surviving victim. I'm hoping she's getting all the support she needs during what must be an incredibly traumatic time. Being a survivor of such a violent event can have long-lasting impacts, and she might be replaying those terrifying moments over and over in her mind. It's a community tragedy, but for people like Coral, it's personal and deeply painful. For those of you who have been through something similar or know someone who has, what kind of support or resources can make the biggest difference for survivors in situations like this? My heart really goes out to everyone affected.
