It's so incredibly difficult to wrap my mind around this tragedy. The fact that Ivan Jr. lost his life in such a manner is a reminder of how quickly things can spiral in domestic disputes. I’ve been thinking about what could have been going through Ivan Sr.’s mind during those moments. It must be haunting to live with the outcome of that day, knowing it involved someone you once cradled as a child.
As someone who also lives in Oregon, this case hits pretty close to home. It makes me think about the ripple effect this incident has on the community and the families involved. It's a heavy reality that even after the investigation concluded, both families deal with a lifetime of emotional aftermath.
