I was reflecting on the lack of information regarding William Kendrick's tragic case. It's baffling how, even with a crime scene identified, there haven't been any significant leads or suspects. The area around 7400 block of Northeast Glisan Street isn't exactly deserted, so it seems like someone must have seen or heard something around 10:24 p.m. on that terrible evening. It’s incredibly frustrating to think about the heartache his family must be enduring without answers.
I wonder if there's a possibility that potential witnesses are scared to come forward. Offering a reward is a starting point, but maybe there needs to be more visible community support to assure them that it’s safe to speak up. It’s important that we create an environment where those who have even the slightest information feel empowered to help. Hopefully, someone out there will muster the courage to share what they know. Let's keep discussing and sharing what we can because his family deserves closure. Does anyone have thoughts on how the community might be able to foster this kind of safe space for potential witnesses?

I've been following the case of William Kendrick, who tragically lost his life after being shot in Portland last June. Something that's been on my mind is the location of the crime scene on Northeast Glisan Street. It's a fairly busy area from what I know, with a mix of residential and commercial spots. I would think that there must be someone who saw or heard something that night. It's frustrating to hear that no arrests have been made yet.
I've seen cases where businesses and homes had surveillance footage that ended up being pivotal. Does anyone know if there's been any mention of CCTV or any kind of security footage in relation to this case? It seems like something like that could be crucial. I can't even begin to imagine what William's family is going through, and I just hope there's some movement on this soon. If someone out there knows anything, I really hope they come forward.
