I just can't stop thinking about Makayla’s friends who were with her that night. I read some updates about the shooting, and it breaks my heart to think about how traumatic it must have been for them to witness such a violent tragedy. Not only did they lose their friend in such a horrific way, but they had to deal with their own injuries too. I can’t imagine the kind of emotional and physical scars that are left behind after something like that. It’s so frustrating that no arrests have been made. Makayla's friends and everyone involved deserve closure. I really hope that someone will come forward with information, and that the community supports them in doing so. My thoughts are with all those who loved Makayla and are fighting for justice.

Hey everyone, I've been reflecting on something that really bothers me about Makayla Maree Harris's case. It's absolutely tragic, and my heart goes out to her family, especially her mom, Felicia. I can't stop thinking about how difficult it must be for the families of those injured as well. What stands out to me is the reluctance of witnesses to come forward. I get that there's a real fear of retaliation or distrust of law enforcement, but it's incredibly frustrating how this complicates getting justice for Makayla and the other victims. The FBI is offering a $25,000 reward, which honestly should be a big incentive, yet it doesn’t seem to be enough. It makes me wonder how we can expect any progress when people are too scared to speak up. Can communities find ways to work together to create a safer environment to share information? It seems like something needs to change, but I’m at a loss for how that could happen. Anyone have thoughts on what might help break the silence in these cases?
