Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage that was mentioned during the trial of Ivan Herrera-Ortiz. It's so frustrating that the quality was too poor to clearly identify the shooter. I can't imagine how agonizing that must have been for Roberto Gorie's family, not getting a clearer picture of what exactly happened. It's a harsh reminder about how crucial good-quality surveillance is in solving cases like this. We've seen tech advancements, but it makes me wonder how many other cases might have hit similar roadblocks because of something as simple as grainy footage. The community really deserves to see justice being served without these setbacks. My heart goes out to Roberto's loved ones—I hope they find some measure of peace knowing the person responsible is behind bars, even though it won't bring him back. What are your thoughts on the role of technology in solving these kinds of cases? Do you think we could see improvements soon?
