I wanted to share my thoughts on a particular aspect of Michael Paul Fitch's tragic case. What really stands out to me is the lack of updates or developments in the investigation. It’s been more than a year now, and with no suspects named or arrests made, it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for Michael's family and friends, having to live with the uncertainty and lack of closure. It seems like these cases are becoming more common in areas like Buckman, which makes me think about how overwhelmed the local law enforcement must be. The fact that 2022 marked a record year for homicides in Portland is just staggering. I hope that more resources are directed towards solving these kinds of crimes so that justice can be served not only for Michael but also for the many others who have lost their lives to violence. If anyone hears anything new about Michael’s case, please share. I think keeping the conversation going is one way to honor his memory and show support for his loved ones during this difficult time.
