Speaking of businesses Leonard was involved in. His involvement in the black market sales of marijuana could be a lead. Maybe there’s some history between him and this Ringo fella.

Ringo v. Oregon Department of Revenue TC-MD 220012R

I recall also that there was some sort of Hash operation linked to the business that exploded in Bend. And I can’t find it but remeber something about the mother or wife saying they were scared for their safety to talk to police or something like that. Been awhile.

Prob worth to look into Leonard’s connection to this illegal drug business. And the people he was affiliating with. Pretty par for the course for people to be murdered in the black market drug business. Poor dude and his family. What a horrible way to be found.

I used to live in Bend. Back then it was waaayyy smaller and hardly any crime. It's sad to see the state it's in now. :(

I grew up there. It has really changed over the years. Kinda run down over the years and I am not sure if crime is higher but it really felt like it when I visited family last year.

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Leonard Peverieri's murder and something has been on my mind lately. It seems odd to me that Judge Bethany Powers Flint, a friend of the victim's wife, got so involved in those early stages of the investigation. I can't help but wonder if her actions unintentionally created a hurdle for the case. I'm not saying her intentions were wrong—wanting to protect a friend is understandable—but advising them not to speak with police kind of complicates the situation, right? I really hope this doesn't impact the chances of finding justice for Leonard. The family must be going through such a tough time, and I just wish there could be some progress to bring them peace. Does anyone else have thoughts on how this might affect the investigation?
Has anyone looked into the possible connections between Leonard Peverieri’s work and his murder? I read that he was really well-known in the real estate sector in Bend, Oregon. Could his business dealings have anything to do with this? Sometimes high-profile careers like his can lead to complicated relationships or rivalries. Just hoping the investigators have explored every angle. Sending thoughts to his family during this difficult time – can’t imagine what they’re going through. If anyone has insights, I’d love to hear them. Let’s keep the discussion respectful for those affected.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Leonard Peverieri case pretty closely, and something that’s been on my mind is the role Judge Bethany Powers Flint played right after the murder. Her decision to intervene with the police's initial interviews got her a public censure, and I can’t help but wonder how much her actions might have impacted the early stages of the investigation.
I understand her wanting to protect the family during such a traumatic time, but could this have delayed or complicated gathering crucial evidence? It’s just so frustrating to think that any potential mishandling might have set back finding justice for Leonard.
Does anyone else feel like her actions could have unintentionally hampered the investigation, or am I overthinking it? My thoughts really go out to Leonard’s family – it must be so hard for them not to have any answers yet.
Hoping for some kind of breakthrough soon.

My team is working on this case now. I would love to hear your thoughts on the case. Here are a few things I find incredibly interesting:

1) Wife had been provided divorce documents only week prior by Peverieri

2) county judge immediately inserts herself in to the situation, likely compromising the investigation.

3) The location of his murder.

4) The large estate and investments of the deceased.

SW, I'm curious to hear more about 'your team'. Do you guys investigate cold cases? Are you a local team or remote that works on cases from different areas? Just curious and maybe a bit jealous. lol
