I can't stop thinking about the children in situations like this. I haven’t seen much discussion about the impact on the kids who might be left behind or those connected to these families. Gabriela and Carlos had a son, right? I can’t even begin to imagine the turmoil and confusion he's going through after losing both parents in such a harrowing way. These kids need so much support and understanding. Is there any information on who’s stepping in for him, or if there’s a way the community can help? It just breaks my heart thinking about how, on top of grieving, he's left grappling with such a complex family history. If there are local resources or support efforts being organized, I'd love to know how to get involved. We have to stand by him and any other children affected by this and make sure they have the support they need to heal.
